My cute friend and the talented photographer Stacie Larsen just opened her brand new space in Ogden, Utah and I was lucky enough to plan the first styled shoot to break it in. The Fifth Floor is a new event venue and photo studio in Ogden located in the historic Kiesel building at the heart of the city. This gorgeous space has large windows on every side letting in that natural light we all love, and giving an incredible view of the city as well. It has a romantic and industrial feel to it and I can’t wait to see all of the beautiful events that take place here.
When Stacie asked me to plan the first styled shoot I was so excited and immediately started brain storming. I decided for this #AFPStyledShoot I wanted something with subtle spring vibes, and the dusty blue and blush color palette was perfect against the exposed brick walls. Our lovely models, Ivy and Matt, have only been married for a few months now and I just loved getting to work with them (newlyweds are just my favorite). My girl Lexi Harker did Ivy’s hair and makeup and she wore her own wedding dress which was from Alta Moda Bridal. Everybody at the shoot couldn’t stop obsessing over the lace bell sleeves and her gorgeous long veil the entire time we were there. The florals by Ginger Fenton of Ginger Snap Flora were absolutely breath taking, and Blue Bird Vintage Rentals provided us with the most exquisite china place settings.
This definitely became one of my favorite styled shoots to date, and I’ll forever swoon over the dreaminess in these images. Go ahead and take a scroll and see for yourself.
