While I was in Palm Springs for the Evolve Retreat, I met Edith. From the minute we started talking I knew I needed her in front of my camera and I had a mission to capture the fierce and regal beauty she so naturally carried about her. She tried to tell me she wasn’t good at getting her picture taken, I called a big fat BS, and here we are.
For the record when it comes to photos I’m always right. 😉Â
We went out to the windmills just outside of Palm Springs, mid-day and it was SO HOT. Like dripping sweat, boiling sand kind of hot. But the clear blue sky and the harsh light on Edith’s face was exactly the look I was envisioning so I was squealing with joy as we took these. She let me experiment a little behind my camera (which I always love), and I’m so happy with how these images turned out.
I’m thankful for opportunities like this to get creative. If anyone is down to get funky during a shoot HMU loves.
