If you follow me on social media you’ll probably already know about the super cool thing I’ve been doing this year with three of my favorite people (and fellow photographers). We created The Focus Collective, which is essentially workshops and education resources for other photographers and business owners, and the community that has come from it has been amazing. This March we hosted our first weekend workshop down in sunny St. George, Utah and we had photographers come in from all over the state to be a part of it. We spent three days teaching about how to grow your brand, leading beautiful styled shoots, and having editing parties complete with pizza and good conversation about being a business owner. It was the bomb, and we all left on a total high from the inspiration and friendships we made. – Sidenote: our next workshop is actually happening this coming weekend in Logan, Utah and we are so excited!
Anyways, I was put in charge of styling a bridal shoot for our attendees and naturally I used it as an excuse to make all of my desert boho wedding dreams come true. I found the perfect models (and real life lovers) Sarah and Devin, and the blush lace dress from Lael Rentals with the blue headpiece from Danani Bridals made her the dreamiest red rock princess. By Bloomers provided the most unique bouquet, and then Cupcakes by Julie’s little picnic size cake was the literal icing on top of it all.
