I had such a blast with the Bird family a couple weeks back taking their family photos! This little tribe was so fun and sweet and the kiddos were (as you can see) so full of energy and life. We struggled to get cute Wes to hold still for a few pictures because he was so eager to go run off and adventure on his own. But you can’t even blame him because this location is just full of cool spots to go exploring!
Amanda really wanted their family pictures this year to be up at Tony’s Grove when the wildflowers were in bloom and I’m so happy that we were able to make it happen. The light that evening was so dreamy, their outfits were on point, and the flowers just tied the whole thing together. I love shooting weddings and engagements, but families are so fun in a different way because you get to see what happens after all of that marriage stuff. You get to see the life that two people have made together. You get to see the little humans that they brought into the world together. It’s such a sweet and beautiful thing and I feel privileged to have the opportunity to be let into strangers lives to document all of those moments for them.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, family pictures are so incredibly important to have. Time goes too fast and you want to remember the little things before they’re gone.
Fall is almost here, and my schedule is starting to fill up fast! But if you’d like to book a family session with me while there’s still time please shoot me an email!
