My sweet friends Lexi and Blaise had their daughter Ivy a couple of months ago and I was so happy to take their first family photos together in their cute home. Originally we had planned to do a fresh-48 session at the hospital, but Lexi had some complications during labor and we decided it would be best to do the session later when everyone was feeling better. Almost 2 months after her birth we did this in-home session and baby Ivy was still as tiny and sweet as ever. BUT LOOK AT ALL HER HAIR!

We let the natural light pour into their adorable nursery (I’m soo obsessed with little girl decor, it’s a problem), and had Lexi and Blaise snuggle their new addition and tell me all about Ivy’s birth story and life with a newborn. We talked, got a little emotional over the craziness of motherhood and childbirth, and took some pictures I hope they’ll treasure forever.
