Chelsea is one of my favorite people in the whole world. She’s recently been through some hard family struggles and contacted me around Christmas time wanting to document her and her sweet little boy Owen as they enter this new stage in their lives.

She sent me a picture of this flowy red dress she had ordered online and told me she was wanting something with the mountains and snow, and immediately I was all for it. She got Owen the cutest little velvet blue blazer and bow tie to match (from Target I believe!), and when I saw them together in their outfits I about died I was so excited.

We went up Logan Canyon and pulled over at one of my favorite look-outs that gives a gorgeous view of the pine trees and mountains in the background. Chelsea stuffed a bunch of hand warmers in Owen’s pockets and we braved the freezing cold to snap some beautiful photos of them.

I’m so proud to know this strong woman, and she inspires me in SO many ways. It was an honor to take their family pictures and I’m excited to see what’s in store for these amazing humans in this new chapter of life.
