My blog is about to get REAL tropical here and I’m not complaining one bit. As most of you probably know I just got back from spending a week in Hawaii shooting gorgeous couples and hosting my first destination photography retreat. I called it the #AFPgetaway and it was chalked full of styled shoots and adventures that would help expand everyones portfolios as well as just be a dang good time. Well let me tell ya.. mission accomplished. We all walked away with full memory cards and sun kissed skin, ready to go home and edit tons of stunning unique images. I’m going to dedicate an entire blog post just to talking about this trip, so hang tight. But for now I wanted to start by sharing this fun beach session we did with Maddie and Cole on the North Shore of Oahu.
These two are fairly new to married life and spend their days on the beach surfing and swimming. What a life right?? They’re beach babes in every way and I couldn’t get over how photogenic they were in front of my camera. They were pros when it came to playing and dancing and teasing with each other and it made for the most adorable candid photos.
I also have started doing more video work, and with how fun and playful they were being naturally I had to create a little highlight reel video of our shoot with them as well. Check it out below.
