Nicole and her little family looked like they walked straight out of a J. Crew catalog when they showed up for their family pictures last week. I seriously just want to follow these guys around with my camera forever and ever because look how cute they are! During the summer I’m so busy with weddings that I don’t really get a chance to photograph a lot of families, so I love opportunities like this to capture those precious family moments. I’m a very “Candid and Lifestyle” photographer when it comes to posing, and these guys made it so easy to get natural, real life moments throughout the session. Little Remington was the star of the show with her huge smile and adventurous spirit, and I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t already plotting an arranged marriage in my head for her and one of my boys. 😉

Everything from the Maxfield families stylish outfits to their sweet personalities made these photos so fun to take and I loved every second of it. Nicole is a photographer herself (Go check out her work here!), and an incredibly talented one at that, so you can imagine how intimidated I was taking photos for her. But I’m so happy that she’s happy with them, and I honestly just can’t stop swooning over how perfect they are.
