The Foust Twins

Children, Families

I try really hard to make sure that I always have time for my family. It’s hard owning my own business because sometimes I feel like I never really get to go “home” from work. I always have more I could be working on, and I often guilty when I’m not getting it done. But then I think about how fast my kids have already grown, and they’re not even two years old yet. I don’t want to miss out on all of these moments because I’m so busy with my business. Family is always what will come first.
So I schedule “Family Days”. Days where I turn off my phone, put away my work, and just focus on making memories with my kids. They’re always my favorite days, and I always come away overwhelmed with how much love I have for my tribe of boys. This week for our family day the weather was bad, but we still wanted to get out of the house and go on some sort of adventure. So we packed the boys up in the car and went for a drive. We ended up antique shopping, filling up on sugar cookies and Dr. Pepper, pulled over when we saw a random cute laundromat, and took lots of pictures. That’s my kind of day.

But seriously check out how cute these retro orange washers are! I was kind of in love. Oh yeah.. and my kids are pretty cute too. 😉
