Madi and Braeden had the most intimate and beautiful wedding day in the mountains of Big Cottonwood Canyon a few weeks back. The amount of love that surrounded them on their special day was so tangible, and I felt so honored to be a small part of their story. Madi wanted to do a first look before the ceremony and have me capture Braeden as he saw her in her wedding dress for the very first time, and I’m so glad she did because it was one of the most touching first looks I’ve ever shot. Braeden was overcome with emotion seeing his beautiful bride, and fought back tears as he wrapped his arms around her tightly. I’m not going to lie, I might have been fighting back tears too. After I snapped some photos I left to give them some time alone before everything else began. Friends and Family arrived and we were all lead to a gorgeous open field where a floral arch had been set up for the ceremony.
The entire thing was a dream, and the minister who preformed the ceremony did an incredible job telling their love story. He set the tone perfectly and then handed the microphone over to Madi and Braeden to say their vows. This was by far my favorite part of the day. I wish you all could have been there, but their vows were so touching and beautiful and filled with so much love, there wasn’t a dry eye there. We were all still wiping tears away as they said their “I do”‘s and were pronounced husband and wife.
Again, I’m just so thankful that I was able to document this special day for them, and I can’t wait to see where their story goes from here. Congrats to Mr. and Mrs. Belnap!
