Lizzy and Jay met through a mutual friend in their church singles ward after both serving LDS missions. Lizzy told me that for their first date they set up lawn chairs in front of the Oquirrh Mountain Temple and just talked for hours, and since then they haven’t been able to do anything without each other. (How cute is that?!) These two are absolutely hilarious together, and I could not stop laughing our entire session. I’m pretty sure if you can easily quote Nacho Libre with me throughout a photoshoot we’re going to automatically be best friends. 😉 They’re so incredibly in love, and I already know that their wedding day is going to be a blast.
Lizzy really wanted photos in front of this book mural in downtown Salt Lake so we centered their engagements around that. I thought it was such a fun and unique back drop and perfectly fitting for them as they start this new chapter in their life together. Another thing I absolutely loved about their session was Lizzy’s beautiful and unique engagement ring. Instead of a diamond in the middle, it’s an opal stone and it’s absolutely stunning. She said Jay picked it out himself, which makes it even better! Check out their cute pictures!
