Thanksgiving is such a wonderful time to be with family and loved ones, and reflect on everything to be thankful for. And I know, I know, Thanksgiving was last week. But as I look back on this past year I am overwhelmed with gratitude for how blessed I have been, and I felt the need to share.

  1. I’m thankful for my family.

My tribe. My people. My whole world. These three boys are everything to me and I’m so thankful to have them in my life. My sweet boys Porter and Oliver bring so much happiness and excitement to my life. Every day is an adventure with them and I feel so lucky to be their mother. They constantly are doing new things to make me laugh, teaching me patience, and showing me that I have more love in my heart than I ever thought was possible.

And my incredible babe of a husband Braxton is the best thing I could ever ask for. He supports me in all of my crazy dreams and ideas and encourages me to go after what I want. Without him I wouldn’t be able to do any of this, and I owe so much of my success and happiness to him. Even more than that, he inspires me daily to be a  better person while still loving me for exactly who I am. I can’t say enough good things about him, and could just shout from the rooftops how blessed I am to be married to this man.

  1. I’m thankful for all of the wonderful friends who have come into my life.

So many incredible people who have changed me and loved me and made me laugh over this past year. I’ve been so blessed to make some amazing friendships, and through them I have some of my fondest memories. Traveling the world, working alongside so many talented creatives, girls weekends, long deep talks, road trips, and so much more. 2017 has been full of adventure and it’s all because of the friends in my life who have made it that way.

  1. I’m thankful for my home.

I’ve always dreamed of owning my own house and this year that dream became a reality. Braxton and I purchased our first home in the cutest little town and we are so thrilled to begin this new chapter in our lives together. Being able to decorate and make this place OURS brings me so much happiness and I can’t express how grateful I am for that privilege. Especially when some people are just fighting to have any roof at all over their heads. I’m extremely aware of how blessed we are with this, and don’t take it for granted.

  1. I’m thankful for the best parents.

I was lucky enough to be born into (biased-ly) the BEST family ever. My mom and dad are such a good example to me and I’m inspired by them on so many levels. As I start this journey parenting my own children I’ve received an even stronger appreciation for all that they’ve done for me. I aim to be like them in every way, and I’m lucky to have such a close relationship with them.

  1. I’m thankful for photography.

This business has literally changed my life. It’s lit a passion in me I wasn’t even aware was there. I’ve always loved art, but never knew where it would take me. Turns out it’s taking me places I never even dreamed of. I have such a love for capturing human emotion and creating images that tell stories. I love finding the beauty in every day life and helping others to see it too. I’ve always struggled with anxiety and photography truly is the best stress relief for me. I am so so thankful for that.

  1. I’m thankful for my clients.

All of my followers, clients, and you wonderful humans reading this right now. I’m thankful for YOU. Without you none of this would be possible. You are the reason I do what I do, and you are the reason I love it. Some of the best friendships have come from past clients of mine, and I truly feel like I have had the privilege to work with the best people out there. Thank you for valuing me and my work, for making me feel so loved, and for supporting me and cheering me on. It means so much more than you know.

I have so much more to be thankful for and I could go on and on, but for now I’ll stop there. Just know that my heart is bursting with gratitude this thanksgiving season, and I look forward to this coming month and all of the love and cheer that accompanies it.
